Why do we ask you 'Manage your Profile' through this website?

FSSP England is a Limited Company (No.06852978) with charitable status (Registered Charity No.1129964). We intend that your privacy be safeguarded by design and by default. So we have constructed this website to give you control over the information stored about you on our database.

By logging in on this website you can decide how much or how little of your personal data we store on our database. You can change it anytime. You can de-register and delete your entire entry anytime.

As not everyone likes to use the Internet, forthcoming issues of Dowry Magazine will include an insert so that recipients can notify us by post of what information they consent to us storing. Notifications can also be made by letters, emails, telephone calls and face-to-face meetings. That said, if it is not inconvenient, we encourage people to manage their profile online.

Data Sharing
We will not share your information with third parties, except for the purpose of mailing Dowry or our bulletins according to your subscriptions, or where necessary with the relevant diocese in the case of preparing for Sacraments or being received into the Church, etc.

Children
Users of this website must be at least 13 years-old to register an account. Users who are not yet 18 years-old should obtain parental consent to register.

Gift Aid
Our benefactors who 'gift aid' their donations are assigned a unique reference number in order that their donations can be accounted anonymously.

Right to Delete / Unsubscribe
You may change or delete your details at anytime. If you choose to un-register ('Delete Profile') you whole record will be deleted from our database.

Subscriptions through our Mailchimp lists may be 'unsubscribed' by the user at any time through the link at the bottom of each bulletin.

Why enter your:

- Email address and password
This is so we can identify you with a unique entry on the database. When you choose your password, it is encrypted so we do not know it. If you forget your password or wish to change it, simply click on the link on the login page and follow the instructions.

- Tickbox for Dowry Magazine
Upon registering, you can choose to receive Dowry Magazine by post by ticking the box. In this case you will need to add your postal address in the section below. In addition you can use the links provided to subscribe by email to Dowry Magazine and / or our electronic bulletins.

Donations
For accounting purposes we keep records of all donations received. While we are grateful for every contribution, we do not make them a condition for your receiving Dowry Magazine.

- Additional Information (name, address, telephone, D.O.B.)
These are not essential, but are useful if we wish to contact you, for example on pastoral matters, or else for locating people when we are planning retreats, pilgrimages, conferences etc. It can be especially useful to have telephone numbers of those who volunteer at our apostolates.

We ask your date of birth (D.O.B.) so we can differentiate between children, youth, middle-aged and the elderly for planning appropriate pastoral care. For example, without identifying individuals, it can be useful for us to ask our database how many people we have registered who are aged 18 to 35, or how many are over 65.

Where pastorally useful, we might append brief biographical comments.

- Family details
Users may also choose to enter the name of their spouse and names of their children. This helps us make the right connections among the people we meet or to jog our memories if we have met only briefly or not caught the names of everyone in the family.

Confraternity of St Peter
For administration purposes, the names, addresses, DOBs and dates of enrollment of members of the Confraternity of St Peter are stored on the same database, albeit this data is not collected online here. As we continue to pray for deceased members, dates of death are also kept.
