Our Lady of Ransom (for anyone): Sat 10:00am-11:15am, and 20mins before every weekday Mass. At All Saints: during Sunday Mass in the room behind the organ. Chesham Bois: after the Sunday 12noon Mass if not before.
Full Solemn Easter Triduum in Bedford

Maundy Thursday 17 April: 8:00pm Holy Mass, followed by adoration at Altar of Repose until midnight (with confessions heard).
Good Friday 18 April: 4:00pm Solemn Liturgy (ends by 6pm). Compulsory fast & abstinence.
Holy Saturday 19 April: 8:00pm Easter Vigil

Farewell to Seminarian Luke Mazurek, FSSP last Sunday: thank you for those who helped organise the lovely event!
Ahead of Luke’s departure on Easter Monday after six months in pastoral placement with us.
Luke has settled well in our community, helping with altar servers’ training, catechism classes, talks, Mass scheduling, liturgical singing, youth apostolate, stations of the Cross, and more.
We assure him of our ongoing prayer as he returns to Wigratzbad after the Easter break to complete his sixth year at seminary.
Greenlight to fundraise for a place of worship. We hope to be able to advertise a dedicated bank account by the Ascension. We will keep you informed.
Our heartfelt condolences to Tony Nevard, his children, and their families,
on the death of Mrs Prima Nevard in hospital on Sat 5 April.
Thankfully she had received the Last Rites, less than 24hrs previous.
May she rest in peace.
Details of her funeral will be communicated soon.
Colwich Abbey trip on Bank holiday Monday 26th May 2025. Booking completed. Timetable to be communicated later on.
Annual Chaplaincy pilgrimage to Walsingham on Sat 12th July. Save the date and register interest with Rita. We will give thanks for 14 years (minus a week) since the establishment of the Gregorian Chaplaincy (19 July 2011) by Bishop Doyle.

Booking forms for this year’s summer camps in the Peak District (for children 10-17) will be available shortly.
The boys’ camp will be 4-9 August, and the girls’ camp, 11-16 August.
All Saints: kindly remember to put all the hassocks, chairs and pews away safely after holy Mass.
Improving safety together at All Saints: although there will be volunteers on the field to monitor the riverbank, parents still have responsibility for looking after their children.
What is required:
- Volunteers to be DBS checked
- Volunteers to undergo one hour safeguarding training online
- Volunteers to sign a code of conduct
- Volunteers to wear a high visibility vest in order to identify their role and be a point of reference
Congratulations to Stephen Moxham (father of our parishioner Jonathan) who became a Catholic while in hospital last Sunday.
Pray for his safe convalescing after his life-threatening but successful operation.
Congratulations to Peter Saulnier, one of our young adults in Chesham Bois, who has been attending our Mass and other activities for about a year and will receive Holy Baptism on Saturday 12 April at 12:30pm, at Our Lady of Ransom in Kempston.
Peter will receive First Holy Communion at Chesham Bois on Sunday 13 April, 12noon.
Printed copies of Dowry magazine No65 Spring have been displayed for you to take home and share. It is a special issue on religious vocations.
Fr de Malleray, Fr Coelho, and Seminarian Luke went on a monthly excursion to London last week and were given a tour of Allen Hall Seminary (picture) before visiting the Brompton Oratory and admiring some of the ecclesiastical artefacts at the nearby V&A.
