CONFESSIONS TIMES

With presently only one priest, occasional changes in Mass times and other activities may take place.

Our Lady of Ransom (for anyone): Sat 10:00am-11:15am, and 20mins before every weekday Mass. At All Saints: during Sunday Mass in the room behind the organ. Chesham Bois: after the Sunday 12noon Mass if not before.

Well done our many Chaplaincy parishioners who walked the annual pilgrimage from Paris to Chartres despite very hot weather, among 25,000 fellow pilgrims (of average age 20)! We prayed for you! Watch videos from the Pilgrimage on https://www.youtube.com/@NDdeCHRETIENTE.

CONSECRATION OF THE GREGORIAN CHAPLAINCY

TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS

WHAT: Every parishioner is wholeheartedly invited to pray to the Sacred Heart of Jesus for abundant graces to be bestowed upon the Chaplaincy, including a permanent place of worship, more families and individuals attending our activities, and the growth of associated initiatives such as our wonderful scouts & guides, and the deserving RCA.

HOW: Join us in a novena of preparation. On Thursday 4^th June, start reciting as a family or individually the LITANY of the SACRED HEART, (cf. Baronius missal p. 37) until Friday 12^th June included. On that day, the Feast of the Sacred Heart attend if you can holy Mass at 8:30am. To allow more people to unite with this consecration, on Sunday 14^th June we will celebrate the External Solemnity of the Sacred Heart.

NEW PRIEST: Congratulations to now Father Conan McGonagle, FSSP, who was ordained a priest in America on 28^th May. We are all the more delighted since he will be assigned permanently with us as from July. Fr McGonagle is from Northern Ireland and has done all his formation at the North American seminary of the FSSP in Nebraska. Many of our children remember him from the summer camps where he served as a seminarian, and our young adults met him at the Juventutem summer weekends. Among various skills, Fr McGonagle is a marathon runner, and former leader of the seminary schola. Our Chaplaincy parishioners recall him from last Holy Week. We look forward to his First Masses in Bedford and in Chesham Bois in July.

Monthly trek for 18-35 young adults with Fr de Malleray on Sat 13^th June: Pegsdon Hills.

Juventutem London: for young men and women 18+; one Friday evening every month, 6pm Confessions, 7pm Sung Mass with homily by Chaplain Fr de Malleray, 8pm social with Q&As. Next dates: 19^th Jun, 10^th Jul.

Parishioners plan to give thanks to God on Sat 4^th July for Fr de Malleray’s 25^th anniversary of ordination and the grace of the priesthood: after the usual Saturday devotions at OLOR, meet at Willington Peace Memorial Hall, MK44 3PY, from 12noon to 4pm for refreshments and a presentation by the chaplain on his vocation.
