Bishop of Portsmouth establishes FSSP Parish in Reading
It is our great joy to announce that on 8 September 2018, the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Bishop Philip Egan, the Bishop of Portsmouth, established us as a Personal Parish, under the patronage of St John Fisher. Our parish community will continue to be located at St William of York Church, Reading, until such time as a permanent home can be found. New Model of Classical Education for Catholics–8th September
REMINDER: Public Meeting this Saturday
After some extremely good feedback from families after the information event in April, we have made some excellent progress – we’ve secured a venue, we have a board of directors, and we intend to launch in September 2019.
Come along this Saturday 8th September (2018) to find out more about Classical aducation and the curriculum we will use, from someone who has used it for their own children! Venue: Unity Hall, Barton Scouts and Guides, Sharpenhoe Road, Barton-le-Clay, MK45 4SD. For sat navs, please use the postcode, MK45 4LQ, rather than “Unity Hall”, or else you’ll be led to the entrance on Sharpenhoe Road which isn’t accessible for cars.
