For your diaries:

The First Saturday Mass and Marian devotion attract about 80 adults and children. Since OLOR’s parish room cannot fit a large crowd, Willington Hall (Church Rd, Willington Village, Bedford, MK44 3PY) has been booked for all those who wish to gather from 12:30pm.

Well done our many scouts, guides, cubs and wolvets, and staff, who gathered last Sunday near Bedford for a very solemn ceremony of promotion, and games.

Register interest and suggest dates for the monthly trek for single young adults 18-35.

Volunteer for Kempston All Saints River Watch (bedford@fssp.org) as a designated adults on a rota. The Chaplain or the lay coordinator will indicate when the field can safely be accessed by children. Until then, we thank you for your cooperation and diligence in keeping children within the hall, or in any case out of the field. God bless.

Congratulations to Michele and Grace Vetrano on the birth of their first child Barnabas and his holy Baptism scheduled on Sun 19th October in Chesham Bois.

Congratulations to James and Joanna Paul on the birth of their son Johann and his holy Baptism scheduled on Sat 25th October in Kempston.

10:30am low Mass OLOR

12noon annual Pontifical high Mass of Reparation for abortion, at St Joseph & Holy Child Church,  Bedford MK40 1HU, on the solemnity of All Saints, by Bishop Marian Eleganti OSB, with various clergy including Fr de Malleray as Assistant Priest.

2-4pm: All Saints party at Willington Hall.

Please note that this year 1st Nov is NOT a holiday of obligation, so that Catholics are not under obligation to attend holy Mass that Saturday. Needless to say, we wholeheartedly encourage all to avail themselves of the great opportunities listed above.

In Chesham Bois, we will celebrate the external solemnity of All Saints on Sunday 2nd Nov, 12noon (no Mass in Chesham Bois on Sat 1st Nov.)
