Sunday 14 April is Good Shepherd Sunday when all Catholics pray in particular for priestly vocations. After the visit of FSSP UK seminarian Benjamin during Holy Week, we are delighted to have FSSP UK seminarian David attend our 12noon Mass in Chesham Bois this Sunday. Come and meet him in the parish hall after Mass. Please pray for him and for our six seminarians from the UK & Ireland, including Deacon Miklos Homolya who will be ordained a priest at our Bavarian seminary on Sat 15 June 2024.
Here is the text of the votive Mass for vocations that we will offer this week on Monday at 10am. [Full link: https://fssp.org.uk/votive-mass-to-ask-for-priestly-vocations/]
Make your prayer for vocations more efficient via our international prayer network for vocations, the Confraternity of St Peter, whose chaplain in the UK & Ireland is Fr Seth Phipps, FSSP: https://fssp.org.uk/about-the-confraternity/ .
THURSDAY 25 APRIL 7:30pm: WORKSHOP on HOW TO USE MY HAND MISSAL.
Learn to find your way through thin pages to find the Ordinary of the Mass, the Propers, the Common, and the various devotions, or how to attend a Baptism, a funeral, a wedding etc. How to prepare for Confession. Many of you have asked for a simple explanation, book in hand. Bring your missal!
This is our combined MEN’S & LADIES’ GROUP this month. We will revert to separate events next month.
