CONFESSIONS TIMES
Our Lady of Ransom (for anyone): Sat 10:00am-11:15am, and 20mins before every weekday Mass. At All Saints: during Sunday Mass in the room behind the organ. Chesham Bois: after the Sunday 12noon Mass if not before.
Youth Trek Sat 21st June 11:00am (for any single young adult 18-35) Pegsdon Hills and Hoo Bit Nature Reserve, Pegsdon, Hitchin. Park by 10:45am on medium-size parking area along Barton Rd, B655 SG5 3BU.
Includes: gentle walk under two hours, with lunch on the way or at the end at local pub, with Chaplaincy clergy. Let us know if you are coming, that we may all start the walk together and book the lunch for you as well.

Well done our valiant pilgrims, children and adults, who travelled to France and walked the yearly Pilgrimage of Christendom from Paris to Chartres on Pentecost weekend. We prayed for them and they prayed for us.





Pray for our children who will make their First Holy Communions on Corpus Christi Sunday, 22nd June, at 8:30am in Bedford and 12noon in Chesham Bois, followed by Eucharistic processions after both Masses. Please bring petals of flowers in baskets to throw before the Blessed Sacrament during the procession. Please wear Sunday best to honour the Lord in this sacrament of his love.

The Church is currently celebrating a Jubilee Year commemorating the 350th anniversary of the apparitions of the Sacred Heart of Jesus to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque. This Jubilee began on December 27, 2023, the anniversary of the first apparition, and will conclude on Friday 27th June, the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart.

To prepare spiritually and implore from the Sacred Heart of Jesus many graces for our Chaplaincy, our families, our country, and for holy Church we invite you to join in a NOVENA, reciting daily the litany of the Sacred Heart, from Wednesday 18th June included, to Thursday 26th June included. We invite all to attend holy Mass on Friday 27th June, 8:30am (not of obligation.)

On both occasions Fr de Malleray will talk on
Godly and evil examples of spiritual interactions.
Please do come and attend these last talks until Summer recess. Be an investor in spiritual life and community growth through such chaplaincy events.
Annual Chaplaincy pilgrimage to Walsingham on Sat 12th July. Save the date and register interest with Rita. We will give thanks for 14 years (minus a week) since the establishment of the Gregorian Chaplaincy (19 July 2011) by Bishop Doyle. The schedule will be similar to last year’s, with holy Mass, picnic & free time, talks, holy mile, and visit to the Priory ruins.
