What’s on this week – Coffee Morning, Singers needed, and Booked Hall on 16th
MASS INTENTIONS
Sunday 9th October
8.30 am Kate P conversion to RC
12.30 pm Private intention
CONFESSIONS 3 pm—5 pm Saturdays (not 21st October)
CAR PARKING
As well as the Macmillan coffee morning, our Scouts are meeting after the 8.30 Mass and 50 of our parish
children are enrolling for First Holy Communion at the 10.30 Mass. This may result in a gridlocked car park – please be aware!
MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING
Sunday, 9.30 am—12 noon in the church hall. Home-made cakes for sale plus raffle. Please support this very
worthwhile cause.
SUNG MASS
This will take place at 8.30 am on Sunday 16th October, with a practice on Saturday 15th October in church
from 3 pm—5 pm. Dominic Bevan, a professional singer, will be leading this practice—it would make his visit
more worthwhile if we had a good number of people. Men in particular would be most welcome. No
experience or sight reading needed.
NO REFRESHMENTS ON SUNDAY 16TH OCTOBER
The Parish’s First Holy Communion classes this year are going to be meeting in the hall from 9.00—10.15 on
certain Sundays, the first of which is next Sunday 16th October. This means that unfortunately we cannot
meet for refreshments in the hall after the 8.30 Mass next Sunday. We are looking at alternative solutions
going forward.
