3 Talks

WED, 25 JUL AT 7:00pm, St Mary’s Warrington

What we wear tells about who we are. However, common sense suggests that our dress should reflect the time and place of the occasion. But to what extent? This is a sensitive but important topic. For us Catholics, it goes deeper than a mere dress code as is in force for instance at the Royal Ascot (see their very detailed description of which items are permitted and which would bar access…).
According to Christian tradition, wearing the appropriate clothes goes all the way back to God clothing our first parents after the fall; and it anticipates on the wedding garments described in the Apocalypse.
Fr de Malleray will talk on this spiritual topic, followed with Q & A’s.

Arrive at 6:00pm that evening if you wish to attend an extra Low Mass.
