In this very hot weather,
please keep in your prayers in particular the sick, elderly and housebound members of our community, and the wives expecting children.
Please also uphold the beautiful virtue of Christian modesty at all times, but particularly in church. Thank you.
Fr de Malleray expresses his deeply grateful thanks to all who associated themselves in different ways with his 25th anniversary of priestly ordination: through the gathering on 4th July in Bedford and the one in Chesham Bois on 5th July; through the many cards and best wishes; through the generous collections to which so many contributed, and the gifts in kind, including a beautiful pastoral stole and an official Papal Blessing by Pope Leo XIV; through the spiritual bouquet offered by RCA families, and the many Masses, rosaries, Memorare, Spiritual Communions and other prayers offered to God for the welfare of the Chaplain.

On the date of his anniversary, 30th June, while on retreat in a monastery, Fr de Malleray offered Mass for every soul he had met in his ministry or who had supported him on his priestly journey, including all of those attending the Gregorian Chaplaincy. Deo gratias.

You can watch Fr de Malleray’s talk on the occasion of his anniversary on youtube.com/user/LiveMassChannel.
Our newly arrived Assistant Priest Fr Conán McGonagle also thanks all for their warm welcome on his two First Masses at the Chaplaincy, in Bedford on 5th July, and in Chesham Bois on 12th July, and at the refreshments following after. He looks forward to getting to know every individual and family in the community. Feel welcome to make contact and invite him for a meal:

Please email Theresa (bedford@fssp.org) to allow time to look into the cost of hiring a coach based on numbers. Visit www.marchforlife.co.uk/2026-event-page for more info and how to get involved.
