William Currie, new Safeguarding Representative for FSSP Bedford and Chesham Bois. William is married with four children and lives in Northampton. He has attended the Latin Mass at Christ the King for eight years. He retired from Northamptonshire Police in 2017, after thirty years of service and has extensive practical experience in dealing with safeguarding issues involving adults at risk and young people. William will ensure that there are robust safeguarding protocols in place in order to protect everyone in the Apostolate. Sunday Coffee under threat… We need more volunteers to help with tea and coffee after the Bedford 8:30am Sunday Mass, or this may not be able to continue. Help to tidy the hall at the end of tea and coffee would also be welcome.

Trad triplets? Or nearly. On Sat 4 May, feast of the Holy Martyrs of England & Wales, three families in three FSSP England apostolates had the joy of childbirth.  Congratulations to Simon and Isabelle Lubbock (Bedford) on the happy birth of their daughter Marie-Heloise and her baptism on 11 May; to Brandon and Isabella Barkowski (Chesham Bois) on the birth of their son Damian and his baptism on 12 May; and to Demetri and Maisie Newman-Brown (Warrington) on the birth of their first child.

About 20 people stayed on after Mass in Chesham Bois last Sunday to attend the talk by Fr de Malleray on How to use a traditional hand missal.
