Our Thursday family school meets as usual from 1pm to 4:30pm, including Benediction of the Bl. Sacrament and classes by Fr Verrier on Catechism and Fr de Malleray on Christian art (covering for Fr Loewenstein’s weekly Philosophy class).

Priory Campaign: We hope for a decision soon, after some administrative steps. Please continue to pray for more space for our activities.

February 16: ordination in Wigratzbad by His Exc. Vitus Huonder, Bishop of Chur, Switzerland of our Welsh seminarian Gwilym as Exorcist and Acolyte. In total this month 22 seminarians will have been ordained to the Minors Orders and 15 to the first Major Order of Subdeaconate.


Young Adults Group: Saturday 16th February: Meet the deer at Tatton Park. in street at Rostherne Ln, Rostherne, Knutsford WA16 6SA and walk on as a group at 11:00am. Walk duration about 2 ½ hrs, with lunch break in cafeteria. Or depart at 10:30am from St Mary’s Warrington. Next meetings: Saturdays 9 March; 6 April; 11 May [March For Life]; 1st June; 6 July.


Thank you for your prayer and logistical help during our Vocation discernment residential retreat last weekend. Please pray for the 6 young men who attended.

Adults curious to know more about Catholicism? Join our Saturday evening group of catechism for adults: most Saturdays 6pm-7pm, with Fr Loewenstein. We are very glad that 7 adults have been coming regularly to learn about the Catholic faith and be received into the Church.

SYNOD 2020: On Sunday 3rd February at 3.00pm, the Archbishop, at a special service in the Cathedral, will celebrate formally the calling of a Synod for the Archdiocese of Liverpool.
