Check online before travelling from afar: Our Lady of Ransom (for anyone): Sat 10:00am-11:15am, and 20mins before every weekday Mass. At All Saints: during Sunday Mass in the room behind the organ. Chesham Bois: after the Sunday 12noon Mass if not before.

Teenagers’ group?

While we are blessed with the growing scout/guide groups in Bedford, and whereas we plan for more frequent altar training for boys, it does leave space for a different kind of get-together for children between 13 and 17.

Register interest and share ideas with us as to age-range, activities, and location.

ASSUMPTION OF THE MOTHER OF GOD

This FRIDAY: let us watch together with Our Lady until her Assumption: all-night Eucharistic adoration at OLOR. The church has adequate parking, WCs, parish room for rest, and a kitchenette for your coffee or tea. Please contact Bridget [nibridget3@gmail.com / 07442 341655] to register interest for one hour or more.

Starting on Friday 14^th August at OLOR:

• 8:00pm – Holy Mass of the Vigil of the Assumption
• 8:45pm – Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
• Overnight Adoration, ending on Sat 15^th Aug. with:
• 6:00am – Benediction and Reposition
• 6:30am – Mass of the Assumption at OLOR 
• (No usual Confessions and Adoration that morning)
• 11:30am – Mass of the Assumption at OLOR

Next monthly trek for young adults to the Harlington and Sharpenhoe Clappers on Sat 22^nd August July, with Fr McGonagle, FSSP. Pray for our catechumens Sam Kellaher and Claudine Sabet, to be baptised and confirmed on Sun 9^th Aug, 1:00pm, at Chesham Bois.

Fr de Malleray and Fr McGonagle met with their FSSP confreres from St John Fisher personal Parish in Reading on 28^th July for a clergy excursion at Blenheim Palace.

Do schedule a visit to your home by Fr McGonagle, FSSP (conanmcgonagle@fssp.org), especially over this quieter summertime.

PRAY FOR: our scouts, guides, cubs and wolvets and staff on their summer camps on 22-26 July. Fr de Malleray offered Sunday Mass at the camp on 26^th July; and Fr McGonagle is at our boys’ summer camp in the Peak District as Chaplain.

60 took part in the Juventutem annual SUMMER WEEKEND last 31 Jul – 2 Aug, at Ampleforth Abbey, with talks by our own Peter and Maria Jones of OneOfNine, and a new team of young organisers mostly from our Chesham Bois’ apostolate.

CONFIRMED: Chaplaincy coach to the March for Life on Saturday 5^th September:Park for free at All Saints’ car park in Kempston (our usual Sunday church) and board our bus. The bus will take us all the way to the Emmanuel Centre, and back. Discount for families. Let us go together to this major pro-life event. A sensational announcement by the organisers: for the first time, 14 UK Catholic bishops will attend. Please email Theresa (bedford@fssp.org).
