Epiphany Mass Times

Friday 6th January 2023 is a holy day of obligation. Every able Catholic must attend holy Mass that day under penalty of grave sin (regardless of receiving Holy Communion or not on that day). There are three Holy Masses at St Mary’s Shrine in Warrington:

Reminder on All Saints (1st Nov): “On Sundays and other holy days of obligation the faithful are bound to participate in the Mass.” (cf Catholic Code of Canon Law, 1247). A grave cause is needed to excuse from the obligation. In case of doubt, consult your priest in advance. Missing Holy Mass on those days without a grave cause is a mortal sin.
