Change of clergy:

Fr Loewenstein will be away from Monday 16th September until after Easter for health reasons, staying at an FSSP house in France. We thank him for his generous dedication at St Mary’s over the past two years and we assure him of our prayers for his recovery.

We welcome Fr Henry Whisenant as priest-in-residence from this weekend until the end of the civil year. Fr Whisenant is a priest from the diocese of East Anglia. After spending time at a traditional Benedictine community in Tasmania, he was allowed by his bishop to stay with us for a few months and help with pastoral ministry. He is now familiar with St Mary’s, having spent time with us over the summer.

Lastly, Deacon Roger Gilbride, FSSP will join our clergy community from the end of next month until Easter included. Deacon Gilbride is a New Zealander from English and Irish descent. He is in his last year of formation at our seminary until priestly ordination next year.

There are no changes regarding Frs de Malleray and Verrier.
